despite reserving a Deluxe Double Room with a balcony in advance, I received a smaller room with considerable cleanliness issues including mold and a broken sink. The room's walls had noticeable water damage, and conditions like a clogged toilet and insufficient hot water further hampered the experience. Additionally, the elevator was not immediately apparent, resulting in lugging my bags up five flights of stairs.

The location impressed me right away, just a short stroll to Hoan Kiem Lake. Getting a SIM card from Sun was super convenient. Breakfast choices were delightful, especially the traditional Pho that had the authentic taste. My room had a lovely balcony view where I could relax and watch the bustling street below. Housekeeping did a great job keeping things tidy. The air conditioning worked well, which was a must after exploring the hot city. However, the room felt a bit cramped without many places to hang my belongings. The soundproofing could use improvement. I heard a few noisy guests at night. Still, the staff made up for it with their warmth and helpfulness, making my stay more enjoyable overall.
